In the past, medical experts did not pay attention to this, and children had a hard time coping in school as well as in life. They would become frustrated and most teachers would assume that they had behavior problems. A lot of these kids were underachievers due to the nature of the disorders. Fortunately, times have changed and there is a lot one can do for a child like this.

Because of the lack of concentration, one finds that relationships suffer. This is a problem at work as well as on a personal level. If someone is not treated, they may also find that the pressure is too great. The frustration levels rise, and they may have to turn to some form of comfort.
