Many people have joined sports from tender age while others have come to perfect it as they progress in life. Sometimes you may come across an athlete and you wonder how they become famous and talented. This is seen mostly in the popular vitor shaolin ribeiro who has been in the field for some time. Being born in Brazil in the city of Rio de Janeiro in February 24 of 1979, he got a chance to become one of the recognized Jiu Jistu which is considered to be a sport that came from Japan.

At 14 years, he encountered his first fight with a student in his school. This did not discourage him but he gained power and decide to locate to a more suitable school called the Nova Uniao. This enabled him to become more serious with this martial sport for his wanted to be the best.

It is amazing that at the age of 17, he won the school championship in Jiu Jistu. As a teenager, he became number 2 in a category meant for the adults in this sport. In his time, he broke the record of Black Belt at the age of 18 years. At the Brazil nationals, he continued to show his power and talent by winning the main trophy.

For his determination, he continued to show his improvements in wining major trophies for 3 continuous years. This motivated him to do more in his career life for he understood the meaning of proving he is the best in different categories. His main goal was to be among the best in MMA and he ended up there.

Working with the experts is what makes one perfect and stronger. For this reason, he approached the popular Darryl Gholar expert in wrestling. From his expertise, he gained more energy which is required for anyone to be considered great in MMA. From the trainings, he is able to train other upcoming sports people who are willing to make a mark in the martial and other sports.

This athlete has many achievements which cannot go unnoticed. These are Jiu jistu championship for four years; in 1998 he took home silver world medalist and 2x Brazilian National Champion. He also took third place position in ADCC which was the year 2003. This achievement is not easy achieved because it requires a lot of sacrifice and self discipline. Not many people will want to sacrifice their effort and time thus making them losers in different categories.

He has his own techniques which have contributed to his famous career. In the sport Brazil, he loves using the half guard moves which is now known as his trademark. During the MMA career, he has been known to take advantage of the opponent by using the arm triangle to perfect his moves.

In this sport, there are different weight divisions and each person has a chance to choose one that they are comfortable with. For him he has been in the middleweight, the lightweight, and the featherweight. The athlete is known to prefer the featherweight because he knows he is perfect in this.
