Try Wholesale Leggings And Yoga Pants

By Linda Murray

Many fashions come and go but when those items that are comfortable and practical tend to stick around for decades. One great example is denim, which actually started out as something worn to work outdoors but is now a major fashion staple. Right now, stretch pants are going through a similar phase, as there are many uses and fit many body types. This could be why wholesale leggings and yoga pants have been flying off the shelf in droves over the past several years.

Once consider a fashion faux pas, stretch bottoms were mostly made from polyester and the styles seemed matronly. Unfortunately, it the main choice for women who wore plus sizes but sometimes cheap blends rarely help up if they were washed in a machine several times. While those made of a higher quality material hid unsightly bulges, they were uncomfortable to wear in hot climates.

Years later, leggings were a sleeker alternative as some fabrics could hide or enhance certain physical features. These were also versatile and comfortable to wear in any weather. Over time, they became available in a multitude of prints and fabrics that made them wearable in many environments, including indoor jobs.

Fabrics used to make stretch bottoms were blends of heavy cotton, denim, and spandex. These more durable versions worked well in hiding flaws such as bulges below the waistline and held up better after several turns in the washing machine. Some styles were dressy enough to wear outside of a casual setting and accepted as normal attire for children and adults.

When yoga and its culture became more accepted into the mainstream, people flocked to classes that helped improve their physique, clear their mind, or just make them feel better without strain. Although women were the first to wear yoga pants in and away from class, men slowly began to get on board. The soft fabric and slightly flared leg was more practical than the regular sweat pant but less constricting than all spandex pants.

Another apparel boom is the t shirt trend where large and independent designers make short sleeve cotton shirts fashionable. While t shirts have never gone out of style, the popularity has increased due to the creativity that many have implemented such as interesting logos, graphics, or just the practicality of a colorful shirt that is suitable for work or play. It also does not hurt that celebrity endorsements for certain brands does not hurt sales either.

Another factor that has more people wearing casual gear is a decreased need to dress up for work, as telecommuting is becoming the workplace trend. Working at home allows people to dress as they please and not deal with things like dry cleaning bills. In some companies, people have stopped wearing suits or button down shirts and choosing soft t shirts and jeans or casual slacks.

So including stretch pants with an inventory is a great way to increase sales. This is a fashion trend that requires little maintenance and works well with many age groups. Its versatility also allows the wearer to add style when used with certain accessories or fabrics. For many, this makes more sense than buying a single high priced item with limited use.
