No Instances In The Bible Where God Is Pronounced Jesus

By Marci Glover

It seems that people have a little understanding about Christianity and the whole concept about Christ. When Christ came to the world, the mission He had was to make sure that humankind gets redemption for their sins and that the good and flourishing relationship God once has with man is restored. He thus came as one sent, a more reason there are no instances in the Bible where God is pronounced Jesus.

There are instances where Christ creates a link between Him and the Heavenly Father, especially during the time where many are not so sure about His origin and mission. For instance, Christ says that whoever has seen Him definitely has seen the one who sent Him. There are other instances where He says that He and the Heavenly father are one.

Christ is the Lamb of the Almighty Father. The phrase Lamb of God appears both in the Old and the New Testament and it refers to Christ being a person given to be the sacrifice that would be offered to God to atone for the grave sins of humankind. Through His death, He would lead many people in the right path and eventually, they would have everlasting life.

The Bible speaks clearly that Christ is the lamb of the Almighty and does not say that Jehovah himself came to be the sacrificial lamb. For God to save the world from sin, shame, death, and give people a new hope for life, he decided he would send someone to be the sacrifice. Christ, the lamb, was therefore slain for the sake of human kind.

When Christ came to the world, He knew that He had a mission, which is to represent and do the work of the one who sent Him. In his own words, He says that his teaching and his doings do not come from Him but are the doings of the one who sent him. He further says that whoever accepts little children accepts Him and anyone who says yes to Him says yes to the one who sent Him.

One of the interesting things about Christ is that He and the Father are one. In his mission, He states clearly that those who sees Him and accepts Him sees and accepts the one who sent him. He further says that He is the way, the truth and the life and whoever would want to come to the father would have to get through Him. Whenever you pray, you ask everything from the father through Jesus.

Abraham is the father of faith and is known to be the greatest servant of God that ever lived. However, someone greater than Him and took the pace of leading the people of God in the right path of life. When He came, the world realized that it could not compare him with Abraham because He was powerful and with more authority than anyone else on earth.

The only thing that Christ came to do was to save humankind from the mistakes they make against the Almighty. This should be enough to give an explanation as to why He made the decision to die for your sins and is alive today. He remains the son of the Almighty.
