How To Have Good And Sensible Man Cave Decor In A Bachelor Pad

By Pamela Bell

There is a need to make a home for yourself at some point in your late 20s or early 30s. This is a sign of financial stability and maturity that many may not have when they still live with others. This does not necessarily mean parents but also extend to roommates. At some point, you really just need the peace and quite.

A well groomed bachelors pad is also very attractive to anyone who goes in your space. Having something like this may be difficult once you are fresh out of college, but this should be achievable a some years later. There is a point in life where you may want to live like a decent human being. This is where man cave decor and interior design comes in.

If you are a dude who does not really invest on these things you may come to find that the things listen on here are likely true to your own room or apartment. For girl readers, you may find that many in here are very funny because they are true and you witnessed this for yourselves at some point.

A bed with quality sheets, blankets and a duvet should be the first priority. A welcoming bed is any busy persons best friend after a long hard day at work. Buy white sheets in sets since they work with any interior or what aesthetic you are going for. It is very important that there is an actual bed and not just a mattress on the floor.

Tables and drawers beside the bed do not only provide somewhere you can put a glass of water for you to use at night. This also makes a great place for you to put a lamp on so that you would not have to stand up and switch off overhead lighting. The only time you may appreciate this is when you are already set in bed not wanting to stand up but want the lights off.

Coat racks also make sure that coats, scarves, jackets hats and what not, do not end up on the floor. This fixture is especially useful on days where you could care less if your clothes are on the floor or not. A rack near the door way will for you to hang these things and not make a mess.

Have at least one big mirror around the house, preferably near the bedroom entrance or any door, really. A mirror strategically placed around the home can help you check if you look nice enough to go out and meet the world. Put in a shelf or shoe rack in there too, with a bench or a chair for you to sit on while putting on your shoes.

If you have collection of things, think about a way to incorporate them in the interior as artfully as possible. But if you are not the type to do this, at least have a piece of art in the space. This tells people that you care about culture and have a sensitive side which is very attractive to many people.

Make it a point to have glassware and kitchen utensils. Maybe a full furnished kitchen would be going to far, but having glassware that actually match, is a must. Take note that these are not those you have kept since college, or stole from home or the stuff your ex roommate left that you did not bother to give back. Plain white plates, clear glasses and silverware in sets of 5 should suffice.
