By Jason Jones

When people wake up early in the morning, most of the time they go to the kitchen and have a cup of coffee. Everybody seems to be addicted to it. Never a day passes without a cup of it. There are many blends and different ways to prepare it. Some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it boiling in the pot. A very busy man can have his favorite blend with the most expensive coffee maker.

This brewed beverage is uses coffee beans and there are two types, Arabica and Robusta. This plant is native to Africa and because of its popularity, is now planted in tropical countries where it thrives well. There are more than seventy countries that cultivate it. This includes those in the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, Africa, and South America.

Preparing it according to some is an art. Any individual can be a master of it. Choosing the best brands and type will ensure consistency in tastes for a good many years. It sometimes is likened to what an individual has to do in prepping foodstuffs. There are several ways of brewing it but it is primarily dependent on the desires and tastes of the person making it.

The dried bean itself or how it is roasted does not just give it the flavor. The manner in which this is ground also influences the taste. Some brands claim they have the correct grind that gives it maximum scent and flavor. This is no matter how it is prepared. Fine powdered instant coffee loses its flavor when left in open air. It will also harden and become sticky.

It really is good to remember the correct proportion that you like so as to be consistent in taste on a daily basis. The common user usually uses two tablespoons full of coffee diluted in hot water. But most addicts of this drink have their own formula that will satisfy their desire and really take their time preparing it everyday.

Indeed, there are many ways on how to prepare this beverage but there are basic things to remember that will ensure the same taste every time you make a cup. The first one is as mentioned above, have the same proportion every time you prepare one. Second is it should only be in contact with hot water for a specific amount of time contingent on the coffee maker. So it will be good to time it when making one.

Thirdly, Pots and other devices used with water should be very clean and sanitized. The ground beans are prone to leave stains on the inner surface and will spoil the blend of a freshly prepared beverage. The fourth is, never over boil nor overheat the mixture. Too much heat will kill off the aromatic substances and the beverage will lose its flavor.

The fifth should not escape your attention, it must be served right after its preparation. As the saying goes, it is best offered when hot. Allowing it to cool down will make it lose its taste and aroma. Even when reheated it will no longer have the same flavor. If you like standing coffee, there are lots of appliances that can do this that are available in the market.

There is a rapid pace in the advancement of technology now in modern times. Technology and science are at the vanguard of new discoveries and amazing inventions. This becomes obvious when one enters even an ordinary home. All sorts of appliances that support human activity are present. Get inside the kitchen and you will see a good old coffee maker.
